T he handmade skulls consume a considerable amount of the artists time, who must be trained and practiced for at least 5 years so as to manage such a detailed job. The fine carving of such small pieces is something no regular lapidary or machine could ever do. EACH skull takes a senior experienced artist about 2 hours in carving process, let alone the polishing.
