An exciting and amazingly creative work of art, working with the natural structure of the gem and stone, The Pirate Corsair is a captivating crystal skull sculpture.

The Pirate Corsair fire agate crystal skull is focused on introspection and self examination, encouraging the acquisition of spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health and wealth. The Pirate Corsair incites us to assume responsibility and control of where we are headed in our spiritual evolution, invoking a determination to take action to achieve the desires of our heart with courage, tenacity, and without fear. Boldly moving forward to attain our greater potential is easier done when we do not allow trepidation to hinder our progress.

Fire agate was formed between 24 and 36 million years ago in the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. During the Tertiary Period, massive volcanic activity caused heated water, containing iron oxide and silica, to permeate rocky areas, leading to the crystallization of the dissolved minerals. The iridescence within fire agate is due to the refraction of light as it passes between the layers of silica and layers of the included iron oxides, commonly referred to as limonite. This refraction gives the effect of bubbling structures within the stone, however there are no included physical formations in the stone, it is only the refraction of light in the alternating layers of limonite and silica. Fire agate is not subject to drying, scratching, or fading like some other iridescent crystals, and a gem cut fire agate is by far more rare than diamonds, rubies, or emeralds.

Symbolizing the spiritual aspect of complete purity, fire agate provides protection from intentional harmful energies, reflecting them back to their source in a way that allows the source to learn and understand the potential experiences caused by their actions. It is important that one remember to not intend for this action to be a hurtful or harmful experience, but rather to focus on the experience providing an opportunity for positive growth and betterment of oneself and everyone involved. Fire agate helps one to let go of internalized fears, giving reassurance and assisting one to gain the confidence necessary to confront challenges that excite the fear responses.

Fire agate energizes and incites the processes of self examination, motivation, and insight, and
helps one to release unhealthy inclinations towards traits and characteristics, such as greed, infatuation, attachment, lust, and all similar desires, that are not beneficial to mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. Fire agate inspires one to strive to work toward achieving their highest potential, supplementing one with the energy necessary for, and encouraging one to seek, growth and progress.

Fire agate has been used to clear blockages in the energy system of the body referred to as the triple burner meridians, which regulates the functions of intake at the thorax, transformation at the abdomen, and elimination at the pelvis, in the body. Consequently it can be used to address issues of these organs and areas of the body, bringing harmony to the heart and lungs, the functions of the stomach, spleen, and pancreas, and the functions of the liver, kidney, bladder, and large and small intestines, as well as sexual reproductive functions.

Fire agate has also been used to enhance the vision, to treat disorders and clear the eyes, and to bring optimal health to the circulatory and central nervous systems.

Limonite helps one to make the changes necessary to achieve balance, harmony, and peace, and promotes the optimal potential of mental and emotional expressions and abilities. Limonite also enhances and brings clarity and preciseness to the intuition.

It energizes with a youthful vitality and vigor, allowing for development and improvement of personality. It protects from harmful and confused or imprecise thought processes, psychic attack, and magic directed by negative attitudes or intentions.

The energy of limonite is beneficial for addressing issues of the skeletal system, of the liver and jaundice caused by liver disorders, and for the elimination of fever. It aids in the hydration of the body and the proper utilization of calcium and iron.
