We spent time playing at Ussuri Bay. The air is fresh and cool, and the water cold. We took full advantage of the sun to warm us up as we waded the sandy beaches.

The glass beach at Ussuri Bay is like being in a dream. In a curious twist, here the master carver is Mother Nature, and it's man-made porcelain and glass, tumbled smooth by decades of ocean waves, that become a jeweled beach sparkling with astounding colors! The water is cold and clear, and the sky a lovely blue. Afternoon sunlight glitters off the sea and shines through millions of pieces of colorful translucent glass, with the greens being the most striking. Unlike most other glass beaches, smoothed pieces of porcelain and painted china are here as well.
