The Lost Kingdom is a tyrannosaurus rex skull carved from a fossilized sauropoda dinosaur bone. The infraorder of sauropoda included many of the most popular dinosaurs we know today in our modern culture. Sauropods were the long tailed, long necked, and large bodied dinosaurs such as the brachiosaurus and apatosaurus, also known as the brontosaurus. The sauropods lived from the Late Triassic period, 210 million years ago, until the Late Cretaceous, about 65 million years ago, coming to extinction with the rest of the dinosaurs. Sauropods included the largest known land animals to ever walk the earth, with the dwarf species measuring about 5 to 6 meters (20 feet) long and the largest members ranging between 33 to 34 meters (108 to 112 ft) long. The largest known sauropod fossil, based on its size, was from an individual that may have measured up to 58 meters (190 ft) long. Some of the sauropods are estimated to have reached about 18 meters (60 ft) high. Sauropod fossil remains have been found on all the continents of the world, including Antarctica.
