You are looking at an agate skull. The skull is 11.1 inches long, from front to back.

Here a seemingly ordinary rock, in the hands of Skullis artists, becomes a beautiful work of art, revealing the wondrous hidden features of this amazing Brazilian specimen. A jumble of five, hand carved crystal skulls is found inside, while the natural exterior of the agate has been smoothed and polished to a very comfortable finish. Now the glassy surface gleams with reflected light and helps us enjoy the translucent areas inside the stone. Two of the crystal skulls sport tiny vugs, sharing their miniature geode crystals with us, while overall the coloring gives one the impression of a lovely, quite massive gemstone.
