This impressively life-sized crystal skull sculpture could very well be the epitome of unique! Fascinating and mysterious, septarian nodules are grey limestone concretions with internal cracks filled with rich brown aragonite and yellow calcite crystal deposits. Exactly how these were formed is still an unsolved riddle. Rarely, naturally eroded specimens reveal the amazing geometrical shapes of the internal structures and provide a very different way of enjoying the beautiful septarian dragon stone. This unique crystal skull is hand carved from a specimen from Utah, displaying the many septaria (partitions) for which the formation is named.
