This spectacular crystal skull bowl is a single piece sculpture carved from a solid specimen of rare fossil from Guangxi, China. Rare fossil, also known as seashell marble, is a fascinating material consisting of a black matrix of dolomite marble generously included with beautifully contrasting white fossilized seashells. These are displayed as cross sections, sometimes surrounding a central white calcite deposit where the soft tissue of the animal once was. Pictured full of smaller 1 and 1.5 inch Skullis gemstone and crystal skull pendants and sculptures, this beautiful sculpture combines aesthetics and function to enhance an environment with artistic class and the ancient natural history of the earth.
